Dirty District

Red Vinyl Records recording artists “Dirty District” is comprised of Brazilian born Jair “Eaz” Pereira (Pictured above left), and Jamaican born Ryon “Tef” Royes (Pictured above right). Each member of Dirty District contributes his own influences and experiences to produce the group’s unique sound — an international blend of hip-hop, pop and electronic music.

Eaz has music in his blood. He spent much of his youth in the company of his uncle, Brazilian recording artist, “Nego Gato” and the group “Oludum.” A life long practitioner of the Brazilian martial art Capoeira, Eaz often found himself using his Capoeira skills on the streets of Bahia, Brazil to defend himself. Eaz later moved to the United States before finally settling in the Miami, Florida area.

Tef began life in Jamaica and moved to the Bronx, New York as a child. Tef later enlisted in the United States Navy and served several tours of duty in the Middle East as part of U.S. Naval Special Warfare Unit 5.  Tef’s upbringing and wartime experiences form the basis for his focused approach to music – success at all costs.
